Energy Collaboration

Located within the Western Victoria Renewable Energy Zone, the Wimmera Southern Malle (WSM) region is experiencing an influx of renewable energy projects. 

The WSM Renewable Energy Collaboration is an Australia-first initiative to achieve best practices for community engagement and enhance place-based outcomes for local communities as part of the shift to renewable energy. 

Wagtail Collective is supporting the implementation of the Collaboration which includes a series of community-identified projects across energy, fire risk, evidence-based information sharing, and workforce development and career pathways to help ensure the transition delivers benefits for people who live and work in the region.
